- After the Sunset (2004)
- After stealing a valuable rare diamond and thereby securing their futures, thieves Max Burdett (Pierce Brosnan) and Lola Cirillo (Salma Hayek) decide to retire from crime and move to Paradise Island in the Bahamas. Although Lola is content with their new lifestyle, Max starts to get bored after just a few months. When he hears that a cruise ship containing another rare diamond is about to dock, he starts to revert back to his old self.
- Charlie's Angels (1976–1981)
- The plots of the following Charlie's Angels episodes involved diamonds: Consenting Adults, Hours of Desperation, Diamond in the Rough, and Fallen Angel.

- The British government suspect the existence of a worldwide diamond smuggling operation after large shipments of uncut diamonds start to disappear during transit. James Bond (Sean Connery) is called in to investigate the matter. He discovers that the diamonds have been used to create a lethal laser satellite that is already in orbit...
- Double Trouble (1967)
- Singer Guy Lambert (Elvis Presley) is on tour in Europe. En route to Belgium, a couple of diamond thieves (Norman Rossington and Chips Rafferty) hide their loot in the lining of his suitcase.
- French Kiss (1995)
- During a flight to Paris, thief Luc Teyssier (Kevin Kline) hides a stolen diamond necklace in the bag of a fellow passenger named Kate (Meg Ryan) in order to avoid customs. He then ends up following her across France in order to get it back!
- Gentlemen Prefer Blondes (1953)
- Lorelei Lee (Marilyn Monroe) and Dorothy Shaw (Jane Russel) are flirtatious showgirls on a transatlantic cruise to France. Lorelei Lee is a fortune hunter who manages to sweet talk another passenger (Charles Coburn), a diamond miner, into giving her a diamond tiara. This movie features Marilyn singing Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend, an iconic performance that was somewhat mimicked by Madonna in her music video for Material Girl.

- Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford) is delivering the ashes of Nurhachi (the first Emperor of the Manchu Dynasty in China) to a gangster named Lao Che in a Shanghai nightclub. In exchange, Che will give Indiana a large, rare diamond. As possessions are swapped, Che offers Indiana a drink to celebrate their deal. Indiana takes a sip, not realising that his drink is poisoned. Che will only give Indiana the antidote if he can have the diamond back!
- Rough Cut (1980)
- Two sophisticated jewel thieves Jack Rhodes (Burt Reynolds) and Gillian Bromley (Lesley-Anne Down) join forces to steal 30 million dollars' worth of uncut diamonds.
- Snatch (2000)
- Franky Four Fingers (Benicio Del Toro) steals an 86-carat diamond from a jeweller in Antwerp. His detour through London on his way back to his boss in New York results in a bunch of other criminals getting involved in the plot.
- Superman III (1983)
- With his bare hands, Superman (Christopher Reeves) crushes a piece of coal to make a huge diamond, which is then set into a ring. Later, as Clark Kent, he presents it to Lana Lang (Annette O'Toole), the girl he used to dream about back in highschool.
- The Love Boat (1977–1986)
- The plots of the following episodes of The Love Boat involved diamonds: Hollywood Royalty / The Caper / The Eyes of Love / Masquerade; The Critical Success / The Love Lamp Is Lit / Take My Boy Friend, Please / Rent a Family / Man in Her Life; The Spoonmaker Diamond / Papa Doc / The Role Model / Julie's Tycoon.
- The Wrong Trousers (Wallace & Gromit) (1993)
- A mysterious new lodger (a penguin) uses Wallace and a pair of mechanical trousers to help him perform a diamond robbery.
- Titanic (1997)
